WHAT'S THE BIG DIFFERENCE WITH OBAMACARE, EMPLOYER PLANS, AND PRIVATE INSURANCE?

•ACA/Obamacare accepts anyone, no matter what health issues they've got. It's pretty affordable if you're getting help from the government. But without that help, it can be pricier than other options out there.

•Employer plans are a total win for employees, but watch out if you add family members to the mix. Prices can go through the roof because your boss helps you out, but your family members pay the full bill.

•Private insurance is all about your health status. You apply and based on how fit you are, you get a sweet deal. It's usually more affordable than other plans and offers better coverage.

DO I ONLY GET TO SIGN UP FOR PRIVATE INSURANCE DURING THE "OPEN ENROLLMENT" PERIOD?

Private insurance is available all year round, so you're not limited to just the open enrollment period.

HOW ARE THE PRICES FOR PRIVATE PLANS FIGURED OUT / EXPENSIVE ?

Speaking from my own experience helping families and small business, it is almost ALWAYS more affordable to take all of the family off the employer insurance plan except whoever is employed. And with small businesses, you can often get more affordable rates if everyone can medically qualify for private insurance.
